JTEKT Precision Bearing Corporation (hereinafter “the Company”) stipulates the following Privacy Policy (hereinafter, “Policy”) regarding the handling of privacy information required for providing services on this website (hereinafter, “Services”).
Article 1 (Privacy Information)
1. Among privacy information, “personal information” refers to “personal information” as stipulated in the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, and refers to information about living individuals that can identify a specific individual by name, date of birth, address, telephone number, contact information, or any other description contained in such information.
2. Article 2 (Privacy Information Collection Method)
1. The Company may ask for personal information such as name, date of birth, address, telephone number, e-mail address, bank account number, credit card number, driver license number, etc. when the user registers for use. In addition, transaction records containing the personal information of users made between users and business partners, and information on settlements may be collected by the Company’s partners (including information sources, advertisers, advertising destinations, etc., hereinafter referred to as “Partners”).

Article 4 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)
1. The Company will not provide personal information to third parties without the prior consent of the user, except in the below cases. However, this shall not apply to cases permitted by the Act on the Protection of Personal Information or other laws and regulations.

Article 5 (Joint Utilization)
Regarding Article 4. 2. JTEKT Corporation is responsible for controlling the joint utilization. We handle, more carefully, the personal information of customers and business partners who engage in the same business with those of JTEKT group companies.
Article 6 (Disclosure of Personal Information)
1. When the Company is requested to disclose personal information by the user in question, the Company will abide by such a request without delay. However, if disclosure will lead to any of the following, all or part of personal information may not be disclosed, and if a decision is made not to disclose, the Company will notify the user without delay. Disclosure of personal information will incur a fee of 1,000 yen per case.

Article 7 (Correction and Deletion of Personal Information)
1. If the personal information held by the Company is incorrect, the user may request the Company correct or delete the personal information via the procedure specified by the Company.
2. If the Company receives a request such as that set forth in the previous paragraph and determines that it is necessary to respond to the request, the Company shall correct or delete the personal information without delay and notify the user to that effect.
Article 8 (Suspension of Use of Personal Information, etc.)
The Company suspends or erases (hereinafter, “suspended, etc.”) personal information when requested to do so by the user on the grounds that personal information has been handled beyond the scope of the purpose of use or obtained by unauthorized means. If such a request is received, the necessary investigation will be carried out without delay, and based on the results, the use of personal information will be suspended, etc., and the person in question will be notified to that effect. However, in cases where it is difficult to suspend the use of personal information due to reasons such as incurring a large sum of money to do so, or if it is possible to take alternative measures necessary to protect the rights and interests of the user, alternative measures will be taken.

2. Except as otherwise provided by the Company, the revised Privacy Policy shall take effect from the time it is posted on this website.
